What size skip do I need?
Skip sizes are measured in cubic yards. A 2-yard mini skip suits small clearances and offcuts; a 4-yard midi covers most single-room refits; a 6 or 8-yard builders skip is for a full renovation or house clearance. When in doubt, round up — an overfilled skip usually can't legally be collected, so a bit of spare capacity is always the safer choice.
